New Delhi, September 4, 2024 – In celebration of its 5th year of operations in India, Kia has unveiled the Gravity trims for its popular models—the Seltos, Sonet, and Carens. As India’s fastest-growing carmaker to surpass 1 million domestic sales, Kia is reinforcing its commitment to innovation and luxury with these feature-packed new variants, solidifying its position as a market leader.
Seltos Gravity: Elevating the Flagship SUV Experience
Kia’s flagship SUV, the Seltos, now boasts an impressive 24 variants with the introduction of its Gravity trims. These include the Petrol G1.5 Gravity IVT, Petrol G1.5 Gravity MT, and Diesel 1.5L CRDi VGT Gravity 6MT. With upgrades such as ventilated seats, a 10.25-inch digital cluster, a BOSE sound system, and an electronic parking brake, the Seltos Gravity is designed to offer premium comfort. Exterior enhancements, like 17-inch machined wheels and a glossy black spoiler, give the Seltos an even more stylish presence. The Gravity edition comes in exclusive colors like Dark Gun Metal (Matte) and Aurora Black Pearl, positioning itself above the HTX trim.
Sonet Gravity: Compact SUV with Enhanced Luxury
The compact Sonet, one of Kia’s best-selling models, also receives the Gravity treatment. Available across all powertrains—G1.2 (5MT), G1.0T (6iMT), and D1.5 (6MT)—the Sonet Gravity introduces premium features such as white brake calipers, navy-stitched Indigo Pera seats, and R16 alloy wheels. Functional upgrades include a wireless phone charger, rear adjustable headrests, and split seats, giving the Sonet an edge in the crowded compact SUV segment. Available in colors like Matte Graphite and Pearl White, this trim sits above the HTK+ variant, expanding the Sonet lineup to 22 versions.
Carens Gravity: Family Comfort Meets Premium Style
Kia’s family-oriented MPV, the Carens, sees the addition of the Gravity trim, complete with a sunroof, dash cam, artificial black leather seats, and a D-cut leather steering wheel. Positioned above the Premium (O) trim, the Carens Gravity enhances the model’s appeal to tech-savvy families looking for a luxurious yet practical vehicle. Over 1.5 lakh families have already chosen the Carens, and the new trim ensures it continues to be a top contender in the MPV space.
