Gurmeet Singh Jolly, famously known as Shera, the long-serving bodyguard of Bollywood superstar Salman Khan, has added a luxurious new Range Rover Sport to his garage. The celebrity protector, who has been by Khan’s side since 1995, took delivery of the newly launched L461 model on Tuesday, marking a significant addition to his collection.
Shera, who also runs Tiger Security, a high-profile security firm, has built a reputation for safeguarding some of the world’s biggest stars, including providing security for Justin Bieber during his 2017 Mumbai concert. His unwavering loyalty and dedication to Salman Khan have made him a well-known figure in the Indian entertainment industry.
The newly acquired Range Rover Sport, now manufactured locally in India, has seen a notable drop in price, with the starting tag at INR 1.40 crore. The L461 model, continuing the legacy of its predecessor L460, boasts advanced design elements and shares many features with the earlier model. Built on the MLA-Flex platform, the new SUV is heavier, weighing in at 2,322 kg, and offers a range of powertrain options, including petrol and hybrid variants.
