Historic Color Returns for a New Generation as Ford Celebrates Mustang’s 60th Anniversary with Exclusive Model
Ford is celebrating six decades of the iconic Mustang with a limited-edition 60th Anniversary Package, now available in the beloved Brittany Blue—a color first introduced in 1967. This classic hue joins an elite lineup of colors including Wimbledon White, Race Red, and Vapor Blue, giving enthusiasts a nostalgic nod to Mustang’s storied past.
The Mustang 60th Anniversary Package is more than just a tribute; it’s a collector’s dream. With only 1,965 units set for production, this model pays homage to 1965, the year the Mustang first took the automotive world by storm. Available exclusively with the Fastback body style and equipped with a 10-speed automatic transmission, this special edition is packed with premium features such as the 401A package, Active-Valve Performance Exhaust, Brembo brakes, and a high-end 12-speaker B&O sound system.
Joe Bellino, Mustang brand manager, emphasized the unique appeal of this offering: “For 60 years, Mustang has stood out by pushing boundaries and offering something special. The return of Brittany Blue is our way of giving fans a chance to own a piece of that legacy.”
Distinctive 20-inch Dark Gravity Gray wheels with machined details, retro-themed Vermillion Red center caps, and exclusive side graphics echoing Mustang’s original rocker panel stripes are just a few of the design highlights. The model also features a new grille with a mesh design, reminiscent of the 1964 original, and the smoked housing of standard Nite Pony headlights that frame silver-accented functional air intakes for the powerful 5.0-liter V8.
In addition to the eye-catching exterior, Mustang owners will receive another heritage-inspired feature: a digital gauge cluster honoring the 1999-2001 Mustang SVT Cobra. This update, part of Ford’s ongoing celebration of Mustang’s 60th anniversary, will roll out via a software update on August 17, delivering classic white dials by day and icy blue backlighting by night.
Interested buyers must act fast. Registration for the Brittany Blue edition opens on Ford.com from August 16 to August 19, with only a select few getting the chance to own this piece of Mustang history. Those chosen will be notified by August 21 and will need to finalize their dealer selection within a week.
The 2025 Mustang 60th Anniversary Package in Brittany Blue is priced at $65,245 (INR 54.72 lakh) and will be showcased at the 2024 Woodward Dream Cruise in Ferndale, Michigan, offering fans a chance to see this special edition up close.
As Mustang continues to evolve, this anniversary package is a perfect blend of past and present, embodying the spirit that has made the Mustang a legend for 60 years.
