The new additions include two showrooms and a high-capacity service workshop, all under the Jubilant Nissan brand. This launch not only expands Nissan’s network to 273 touchpoints across India but also signifies the strategic importance of Karnataka in Nissan’s growth blueprint. With the inauguration of these new facilities, Nissan now boasts 18 touchpoints across Karnataka, with plans to expand further into Mangalore.
The event also celebrated a major milestone for Nissan’s flagship SUV, the X-Trail. At the Nagarbhavi showroom launch, the first 4th Generation X-Trail, powered by the innovative Variable Compression Turbo technology, was handed over to its debut customer in India. This marks the beginning of customer deliveries of the much-anticipated vehicle, which promises a blend of versatility, reliability, and cutting-edge technology.
Speaking at the launch, Saurabh Vatsa, Managing Director of Nissan Motor India, highlighted the significance of the Southern region, noting that Karnataka, particularly Bengaluru, has emerged as a powerhouse for Nissan’s sales. He reiterated Nissan’s commitment to enhancing customer experiences and expanding the brand’s footprint in key markets.
The new showrooms and workshop are designed to offer a comprehensive and seamless customer experience, featuring state-of-the-art facilities and staffed by highly trained professionals. With a combined display area of 6,600 sq. ft. and a 13,600 sq. ft. service workshop, these touchpoints are poised to meet the growing demand for Nissan’s domestic and CBU products.
Nissan’s expansion in Karnataka is part of a broader strategy to strengthen its presence across India, with the company aiming to reach 300 touchpoints by the end of the fiscal year. The launch of the new X-Trail, along with recent additions to the Magnite lineup, reflects Nissan’s dedication to offering a diverse range of vehicles that cater to varying customer needs, from high-performance SUVs to innovative, fuel-efficient models.
Nissan’s phygital distribution model, combining physical showrooms with a seamless online experience, continues to play a pivotal role in delivering value and convenience to customers across India. As the company accelerates its growth in the Southern region, it remains focused on providing exceptional service and expanding its footprint to meet the evolving demands of the Indian automotive market.
