Calicut, Trivandrum, Kochi Lead Volkswagen’s Expansion in Kerala
Kochi, India: In a strategic move to enhance its footprint in Kerala, Volkswagen India has inaugurated six new touchpoints across the state. The expansion includes city stores in Calicut, Trivandrum, and Kochi, alongside an advanced body shop facility in Kochi, and additional Sales & Service facilities in Kodungallur and Palakkad.
With these new additions, Volkswagen now boasts 21 sales and 16 service facilities throughout Kerala, reflecting the brand’s dedication to delivering premium mobility solutions to a growing customer base. The expanded network is poised to meet the increased demand expected during the festive season.
Onam Edition Launch
Adding to the festive cheer, Volkswagen introduced the Onam Edition for its popular models, the Taigun and Virtus. These special editions come equipped with Front Parking Sensors, Dual Tone Horn, Puddle Lamps, and a TSI Fender Badge, among other features, offering customers a blend of style and functionality.
Enhanced Service Capabilities
The newly inaugurated body shop facility in Kochi is equipped with 11 service bays, providing comprehensive services including Express Service and full-fledged body repair. This facility ensures that Volkswagen customers receive high-quality, efficient service tailored to their needs.
Leadership and Workforce
The new touchpoints will be managed by a skilled team of over 110 sales and service executives. Ajit Bhaskaran, Managing Director of Phoenix Cars, oversees the Sales & Service facilities in Kodungallur and Palakkad. Sabu Johny, Managing Director of EVM Motors, leads the City Stores and body shop in Kochi and Trivandrum.
