Pune, July 26, 2023: In a significant move to bolster its presence in the commercial vehicle sector, Mahindra’s Truck and Bus Division (MTBD) inaugurated five new state-of-the-art dealerships across four Indian states in July. This expansion, covering Jhansi, Ghaziabad, Raipur, Bharuch, and Kadapa, adds a substantial 2.5 lakh square feet of infrastructure and 37 service bays, enhancing the company’s ability to serve over 75 vehicles daily.

New Dealership Details:

  • Vashu Raj Automobiles, Jhansi, Uttar Pradesh: 35,000 sq. ft., 6 service bays.
  • Aggarwal Elite Motors, Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh: 34,000 sq. ft., 7 service bays.
  • Bathwal Services, Raipur, Chhattisgarh: 27,000 sq. ft., 10 service bays.
  • K P Trucking, Bharuch, Gujarat: 51,000 sq. ft., 6 service bays.

Additionally, Mahindra has a spares network with over 1,600 retail outlets and 22 exclusive MParts Plazas strategically located on key trucking routes.

Customer-Centric Services and Guarantees:
The new dealerships are equipped to handle the entire range of Mahindra’s commercial vehicles, including heavy commercial vehicles (HCVs), intermediate commercial vehicles (ICVs), light commercial vehicles (LCVs), and buses. These facilities also provide essential services such as driver lodging, 24-hour breakdown assistance, and AdBlue availability.

Jalaj Gupta, Business Head – Commercial Vehicles, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd, highlighted the strategic importance of these new dealerships. “MTBD has secured a strong position in the Indian commercial vehicle market. The addition of these five new dealerships will enhance our service capabilities and provide more uptime to our customers’ fleets. We are committed to delivering innovative and efficient transportation solutions.”

Innovative Initiatives:
Mahindra continues to push the envelope with its unique mileage guarantee for the BS6 OBD II range of trucks, branded “Zyada Mileage Nahin toh Truck Wapas,” promising unmatched value and profitability for transporters. Moreover, MTBD guarantees uptime with a 48-hour breakdown service promise, offering Rs. 1000 per day if the vehicle is not back on the road within this timeframe. Additionally, a 36-hour turnaround at dealer workshops is assured, failing which the company compensates Rs. 3000 per day.

Mahindra’s focus on continuous product innovation and customer-centric services has enabled it to set new benchmarks in the commercial vehicle industry. The inauguration of these new dealerships marks another milestone in Mahindra’s journey towards enhancing customer service standards and expanding its business footprint.
