Renault Launches New Electric Trafic Van, Priced from £34,500 + VAT
Renault has officially opened order books for its new Trafic E-Tech 100% electric van, with prices starting at £34,500 (INR 37.51 lakh) plus VAT after the £5,000 Plug-in Van Grant (PiVG). The first deliveries are anticipated to commence in September.
Versatile and Efficient
The zero-emissions Trafic E-Tech is offered in three distinct versions, including a high-roof model, providing versatility and catering to diverse business needs. It complements Renault’s Pro+ range, joining the Kangoo E-Tech and the Master E-Tech, thereby ensuring a fully electric LCV option for businesses of all sizes.
Customizable Configurations
The Trafic E-Tech comes in two body lengths (5.08 and 5.48 meters) and two heights (1.967 and 2.498 meters), offering a load space ranging from 5.8m³ to 8.9m³. It can handle loads up to 4.15 meters in length in the LWB version, thanks to a clever load-through facility. With a towing capacity of 920kg and a maximum payload of 1,222kg, the van is designed to meet substantial transport demands.
Practical Interior
Inside, the Trafic E-Tech supports hardworking tradespeople with 88 liters of in-cab storage, featuring 19.7 liters in the console, 14.6 liters in the doors, and 54 liters in the bench. It also includes the innovative Mobile Office setup, complete with a convenient folding table, detachable A4 clipboard, and laptop storage.
Impressive Range and Fast Charging
Equipped with a 52kWh lithium-ion battery, the Trafic E-Tech offers a driving range of up to 186 miles (WLTP) on a single charge. The van supports rapid DC charging up to 50kW, enabling a full recharge from flat in just one hour.
Advanced Features
Standard features include an 8-inch Easy Link display with wireless smartphone integration, full LED headlights, heated electrically-adjustable door mirrors, rear parking sensors, cruise control, and comprehensive safety systems such as active emergency braking, lane departure warning, and driver attention alert.
The van also boasts a premium dashboard, a 7-inch color TFT driver information display, air conditioning, and the Mobile Office setup with a folding middle passenger seat. Optional features include climate control, heated seats, 360° parking sensors, a rear parking camera, and various door and glazing configurations.
