Rolls-Royce Showcases Bespoke Cullinan, Spectre, Phantom & Ghost at Goodwood Festival of Speed

Rolls-Royce Motor Cars has marked a significant presence at this year’s Festival of Speed, held at Goodwood Estate. The iconic marque presented a series of bespoke vehicles on the Festival’s Laundry Green, adjacent to Goodwood House, including a specially commissioned Phantom Extended, Ghost, Spectre, and the latest version of Cullinan. These vehicles exemplify the pinnacle of Rolls-Royce craftsmanship and innovation.

A Celebration of Craftsmanship and Innovation

The display at the Festival of Speed is a testament to Rolls-Royce’s commitment to bespoke design and luxury. Each vehicle showcases the brand’s meticulous attention to detail and the creativity of its artisans, designers, and engineers. This year’s highlights include the UK public debut of the Cullinan Series II and the all-electric Spectre, both embodying contemporary luxury and cutting-edge technology.

Cullinan Series II: A Bold Evolution

The Cullinan Series II, an evolution of Rolls-Royce’s super-luxury SUV, made its first appearance in the UK at the Festival. Known for its ‘magic carpet ride’ capability across diverse terrains, the new Cullinan features innovative design elements such as vertical lamp treatments and a unique Clock Cabinet with an illuminated Spirit of Ecstasy figurine.

Spectre: The Electric Super Coupé

The Spectre, Rolls-Royce’s first fully electric motor car, continues to push the boundaries of luxury with its vibrant two-tone Peony Pearl and Black Diamond finish. Its celestial-themed interior, complete with a Starlight Headliner and doors, creates a magical and serene atmosphere, highlighting the brand’s dedication to creating bespoke, luxurious experiences.

Phantom Extended: An Icon Reimagined

The Phantom Extended, finished in a striking two-tone of Diba Teal and Black Diamond, draws inspiration from the French Riviera. This bespoke model features a unique monochrome leather Gallery, embroidered with a wave pattern that reflects the elegance and glamour of its muse. The intricate design process, involving over 35 hours of craftsmanship, underscores Rolls-Royce’s unparalleled attention to detail.

Ghost: A Canvas for Creativity

The Ghost, presented in Blue Crystal over Black with a Charles Blue Coachline, showcases the minimalist and pure design ethos of Rolls-Royce. Its simplicity serves as a perfect canvas for bespoke commissions, allowing owners to express their individuality through unique color palettes and intricate craftsmanship.

A Tribute to Legacy and Innovation

This year’s bespoke creations also commemorate the 120th anniversary of the meeting between Charles Rolls and Henry Royce. Each vehicle features a painted ‘sound wave’ design on the center console lid, depicting inspirational quotes from the founding fathers, symbolizing the enduring legacy and forward-thinking vision of the marque.

Rolls-Royce at the Festival of Speed

The presence of Rolls-Royce at the Festival of Speed not only highlights its dedication to bespoke luxury but also reaffirms its connection to the historic Goodwood Estate, near the marque’s headquarters in West Sussex. The event provided an ideal platform for Rolls-Royce to showcase its latest innovations and bespoke creations to media, clients, and partners.

Rolls-Royce’s display at the Festival of Speed celebrates the artistry, ingenuity, and bespoke capabilities that define the brand, reinforcing its position at the pinnacle of luxury automotive craftsmanship.
