Pune, July 08, 2024: Mahindra’s Truck and Bus Division (MTBD), a part of the Mahindra Group, has introduced a groundbreaking customer value proposition with a new mileage guarantee for their entire BS6 OBD II range. This initiative, branded as ‘Get More Mileage or Give the Truck Back,’ applies to the Blazo X, Furio, Optimo, and Jayo series of HCV, ICV, and LCV trucks, aiming to combat rising fuel costs and meet evolving regulatory standards.
The upgraded range features the reliable 7.2L mPower Engine for HCVs and the mDi Tech Engine for ILCVs, equipped with FuelSmart Technology and Mild EGR. These advancements, combined with the innovative iMaxx Telematics solution, ensure superior fuel efficiency and reduced Ad Blue consumption, making Mahindra’s mileage guarantee synonymous with top-tier fluid efficiency.
Mahindra validated these enhancements through extensive fluid efficiency trials, encompassing diesel and Ad Blue, across 21 product categories and 71 models, including competitor vehicles. Conducted over 100,000 kilometers under various load and road conditions, these trials were supervised by an independent agency, reaffirming Mahindra’s commitment to delivering exceptional mileage performance.

In addition to the mileage guarantee, Mahindra’s trucks are equipped with iMaxx telematics technology, enabling real-time fleet operations monitoring and optimization. The Driver Information System provides real-time data on vehicle performance and driver behavior, ensuring safe and efficient operations. This technology offers customers critical insights for informed decision-making and increased profitability.
Mahindra further ensures customer peace of mind with programs like a 36-hour guaranteed workshop turnaround, casualty coverage for drivers under the mAahshray program, and 24/7 multilingual support for truck drivers in emergencies.
MTBD’s robust service network includes over 400 touch points, 80 3S dealerships, 2900 roadside assistance service points, and a spares network of over 1600 retail outlets across key trucking routes in India.
