Volkswagen India launched the inaugural chapter of “Volkswagen Experiences (VWe)” on June 9, 2024, with an exciting expedition from Chandigarh to Ladakh. This journey, designed for Volkswagen customers and fans, promises an exhilarating adventure through the stunning landscapes of the Himalayas.
The Journey Begins: Chandigarh to Ladakh
The first chapter, aptly named “An Exhilarating Expedition to Ladakh,” started from Chandigarh, leading participants through the breathtaking Himalayas to the picturesque region of Ladakh. The expedition highlights the safety and performance of Volkswagen’s Tiguan, Virtus, and Taigun models, offering participants a chance to experience the vehicles’ comfort, drivability, and premium features.

Over 25 Volkswagen cars, filled with enthusiastic customers from all over India, are driving in a convoy from Chandigarh to Ladakh. The route challenges participants with the tough terrain of the Himalayas, passing through offbeat, rustic hamlets, ancient monasteries, high-altitude mountain passes, and whistling valleys.
Cultural and Lifestyle Experiences
The expedition also offers a curated lifestyle experience. Participants will sample local cuisines, bond over outdoor survival training sessions, and visit the Palchan Apple orchards. The journey culminates with celebrations by the banks of the Indus in Leh, Ladakh, reinforcing the spirit of togetherness and adventure.
