Bengaluru, May 1, 2024 – Tata Motors Limited announced a robust performance in April 2024, registering total sales of 77,521 vehicles across domestic and international markets, a notable increase from 69,599 units sold in April 2023.
The company’s commercial vehicle (CV) segment witnessed remarkable growth. Total CV sales reached 29,538 units, marking a 31% year-on-year (YoY) increase. This includes domestic sales of medium and heavy commercial vehicles (MH&ICV), which stood at 12,722 units compared to 8,985 units in April 2023. Overall sales for the MH&ICV segment, encompassing both domestic and international markets, totaled 13,218 units, up from 9,515 units in the previous year.
In the passenger vehicle (PV) segment, Tata Motors also saw positive momentum with total sales of 47,983 units, reflecting a 2% YoY growth.
Tata Motors’ consistent sales performance in both the CV and PV segments highlights the company’s strong market presence and the effectiveness of its strategies in the highly competitive automotive industry.
