Pune, February 12, 2023 – In a commendable journey that began in 2014, Mahindra Truck and Bus Division, a key player under the Mahindra Group umbrella, has once again demonstrated its dedication to fostering educational opportunities for girls from the trucking community. Celebrating an impressive landmark, the Mahindra Saarthi Abhiyaan Scholarships have now empowered 10,000 truck drivers’ daughters, steering them towards the road of higher education.
In an event filled with hope and aspirations in Namakkal, Tamilnadu, scholarships, each worth Rs. 10,000, were directly transferred into the bank accounts of these deserving young women. This initiative shines a spotlight on those who have successfully completed the 10th standard and are gearing up for further studies in the fiscal year 2023-24. The scholarship program, known for its extensive reach, has navigated through more than 75 transport hubs across India, ensuring a well-structured, transparent, and impartial selection process.
