Fully electric Rolls-Royce Spectre launched in India at INR 7.5 crore

New Delhi: In an electrifying turn of events, Rolls-Royce’s Spectre, the world’s first ultra-luxury electric super coupé, glided silently into North India today, sparking a wave of excitement among India’s luxury car aficionados. The much-anticipated debut of the Spectre marks a significant milestone for Rolls-Royce, as it charges ahead into a new, electric era.

Yadur Kapur, the Dealer Principal at Rolls-Royce Motor Cars New Delhi, couldn’t contain his enthusiasm. “The arrival of the Spectre in North India is nothing short of a historic moment for Rolls-Royce. This remarkable motor car is not just a nod to the future of luxury travel but a full-fledged leap into it. We’re thrilled to usher in this new electric era for Rolls-Royce with Spectre, a car that blends the marque’s timeless elegance with cutting-edge technology.”

The journey to this electrifying moment began back in 2021 when Rolls-Royce Motor Cars made a groundbreaking pledge: by 2030, their entire fleet would be fully electric. Spectre, which first saw the light of day in West Sussex, England, last October, is the first fruit of this bold commitment. It’s not just a car but a prophecy fulfilled, a promise made good.

Spectre isn’t just about its electric heart; it’s also a testament to Rolls-Royce’s commitment to luxury. With a starting price tag of INR 7.5 Crore, each Spectre is a bespoke masterpiece, tailored to the unique tastes of its owner. From its whisper-quiet 430kW (584 hp) engine to its sumptuous interior, every detail exudes the exquisite craftsmanship synonymous with Rolls-Royce.

The car’s impressive credentials include a 530km WLTP range, 0-100km/h acceleration in 4.5 seconds, and the promise of a 10-year warranty for its battery. But it’s not just about performance and luxury; Spectre also offers peace of mind with comprehensive service and support, including a ‘flying doctor’ service in extreme cases.

As Rolls-Royce co-founder Charles Rolls once predicted, the future of motoring is electric, and with Spectre’s arrival in New Delhi, that future is now. The Spectre is more than just a car; it’s a silent revolution on wheels, ready to redefine luxury motoring in India.
