Amsterdam, The Netherlands – December 15, 2023: Last night, Zeekr, a leading brand in electric mobility technology, inaugurated its new showroom in Amsterdam with a high-profile, invitation-only celebration. The event, attended by over 500 guests including customers, global media, influencers, and VIPs, marked a significant milestone for Zeekr in Europe.
The showroom is strategically located between Rokin and Kalverstraat, amidst Amsterdam’s most bustling shopping district, offering picturesque views of the Rokin canal and the city’s iconic trams. The venue spans the basement and ground floor of the historic Vroom & Dreesman building and covers an impressive 2,000 square meters. It features innovative elements like studio-style lighting, full-length HD powerwalls, and wood-crafted configuration tables with integrated HD screens, creating an immersive experience for visitors.
A highlight of the showroom is its advanced LED displays and a 3D-effect animation of the Zeekr 001, crafted specifically for the launch. The space is designed to showcase Zeekr’s luxury electric vehicles, with the Zeekr 001 luxury shooting brake and the Zeekr X urban compact luxury SUV being the centerpieces. Both models boast zero CO2 emissions, aligning with the brand’s commitment to sustainability.
The launch event was enlivened by DJ Sunny Jansen, who transformed the basement into a vibrant nightclub setting. Guests were treated to an array of signature cocktails, exquisite dishes made from local ingredients, and entertained by a unique motion-sensitive LED light installation and a professional photo booth.
Zeekr’s CEO Spiros Fotinos, along with other senior executives, hosted the event, emphasizing the brand’s vision for expansion in Western Europe. Plans are underway to open more Zeekr Centers in Germany and other Western European countries by 2026, as part of Zeekr’s ambition to broaden its market reach.
