MINI Opens Pre-Bookings for All-New Countryman C in India; Local Production, Petrol Power and Practicality Take Centre Stage

Gurgaon — MINI India has officially opened pre-launch bookings for the all-new MINI Countryman C, adding a fresh chapter to its growing SUV portfolio in the country. Starting today at 3:00 PM, customers can reserve the latest iteration of MINI’s largest and most practical model across dealerships nationwide—because apparently, good things (and bigger MINIs) do come to those who don’t wait.

The new Countryman C will be locally produced at the BMW Group Plant Chennai, marking a significant push towards localisation and improved accessibility. Unlike its electric siblings, the Countryman C will arrive exclusively with a petrol powertrain, catering to enthusiasts who still believe the sound of an engine is music—not background noise.

Blending MINI’s iconic design language with added space and versatility, the all-new Countryman C is aimed at buyers who want the charm of a MINI without sacrificing practicality. Think of it as a MINI that’s grown up—but still refuses to act its age. The SUV promises enhanced comfort, improved spaciousness and a more refined driving experience, making it suitable for both city commutes and weekend escapes.

With this addition, the MINI Countryman lineup in India is now complete. While the Countryman C handles petrol duties, the electric Countryman E and SE All4 variants continue to push the brand’s sustainability agenda. At the performance end of the spectrum, the MINI JCW Countryman All4 remains the go-to choice for adrenaline seekers who prefer their drives with a side of thrill.

Bookings are now open across all authorised MINI dealerships in India. The brand currently operates 12 sales touchpoints across nine cities, supported by an extensive aftersales network integrated with BMW Group India, spanning 51 service points in 36 cities. In other words, whether you’re buying it for style, space, or spirited driving, MINI wants to make sure you’re never too far from help—or temptation.

Prospective customers can also explore the vehicle’s features and register their interest online via MINI India’s official website. And if the idea of a bigger MINI still feels unusual, well, consider this: sometimes, evolution just means having more room for fun.
