Mahindra Expands Truck & Bus Network with New 52,000 sq ft Dealership in Hubli

Hubli, Karnataka — In a move that strengthens its commercial vehicle footprint in southern India, Mahindra’s Truck and Bus Business (MTB) has inaugurated a state-of-the-art dealership in Hubli, Karnataka, further expanding its nationwide sales and service network. The new facility, operated by M/s. Indhu India Motors Pvt Ltd, spreads across a sprawling 52,000 sq. ft. campus and promises to keep India’s hardworking trucks and buses running smoothly—because when trucks stop, the economy feels it too.

The dealership is designed as a full-fledged 3S facility (Sales, Service and Spares) and will cater to Mahindra’s complete commercial vehicle portfolio, including Heavy Commercial Vehicles (HCVs), Intermediate Commercial Vehicles (ICVs), Light Commercial Vehicles (LCVs), and buses. With seven vehicle service bays, the facility can service multiple vehicles daily while offering support features like driver lodging, 24-hour breakdown assistance and AdBlue availability—essentially turning the dealership into a comfortable pit stop for both machines and the people who drive them.

Speaking at the inauguration, Vinod Sahay, President – Trucks, Buses & Construction Equipment, Mahindra Group, expressed enthusiasm about the company’s continued expansion in the region.

He noted that the addition of the Hubli dealership further strengthens Mahindra’s nationwide service ecosystem, which—combined with the SML Isuzu network—now includes over 200 3S dealerships and more than 400 secondary service touchpoints across India. The company also operates 2000+ spare parts retailers, 200+ mobile service vans and workshops, along with 22 dedicated M-Parts Plaza outlets.

In simpler terms: if a Mahindra truck needs help anywhere in India, there’s probably someone nearby ready with a spanner and a cup of tea.

The network is supported by India’s first multi-lingual 24×7 helpline for commercial vehicles, manned by technical experts who can guide drivers and fleet owners in real time—an especially valuable feature in a country where truck drivers often travel across multiple states and languages.

Mahindra’s growth ambitions in the commercial vehicle space are equally ambitious. According to Sahay, the Mahindra Group currently holds close to 7% market share in trucks and buses, along with a strong 24% share in the I&LCV bus segment. The company aims to scale this to 10–12% by FY2031 and over 20% by FY2036, signalling a long-term push to become a dominant force in the commercial mobility sector.

Adding further perspective, Dr. Venkat Srinivas, Business Head – Mahindra Trucks, Buses & Construction Equipment, highlighted the brand’s focus on customer-centric innovation.

From higher mileage promises across the truck lineup to advanced telematics solutions like iMaxx, Mahindra is working to give fleet owners greater operational visibility and efficiency. The company’s rapidly expanding service ecosystem is designed to ensure that downtime—one of the biggest nightmares for fleet operators—is minimized.

Perhaps the most attention-grabbing aspect of Mahindra’s commercial vehicle offering is its double service guarantee. Trucks from the Mahindra Blazo X, Furio, Optimo and Jayo range come with a promise that the vehicle will be back on the road within 48 hours, failing which the company compensates the customer ₹1,000 per day. Additionally, dealerships guarantee a 36-hour service turnaround, or the company pays ₹3,000 per day.

In the world of commercial transport, where every idle hour costs money, that promise is almost as reassuring as a full tank of diesel before a long highway run.

With the new Hubli dealership, Mahindra is not just adding another dot on the map—it is reinforcing a service network designed to keep India’s trucks moving, goods flowing and highways buzzing.

Because in the logistics world, the rule is simple: when trucks move, India moves.
