Chantilly, France – Maserati captivated audiences at the prestigious Chantilly Arts & Elegance Richard Mille event, held from September 12 to 15, where it made its debut in a celebration of automotive excellence and haute couture. Set against the stunning backdrop of the Domaine du Château de Chantilly, this annual gathering showcases the best in luxury cars and fashion.
At the heart of Maserati’s showcase was the GranCabrio Folgore Tignanello, a remarkable 100% electric luxury cabriolet that exemplifies the brand’s commitment to craftsmanship and innovation. This unique model, conceived through Maserati’s bespoke Fuoriserie customization program, pays homage to the 50th anniversary of Tignanello, a renowned wine from Marchesi Antinori, one of Italy’s oldest winemaking families. The collaboration reflects both companies’ dedication to tradition and forward-thinking values.
Unveiled to the public for the first time at Chantilly after its earlier presentation at the Festival Napa Valley in California, the GranCabrio Folgore Tignanello garnered significant attention. Its appearance follows a successful auction at the 2024 Arts for All Gala, a prominent charity event focused on arts and education in the U.S.
Designed in partnership with Marchesi Antinori, this stunning vehicle is a testament to the exceptional craftsmanship and luxury that Maserati is known for. The GranCabrio Folgore Tignanello stands as a symbol of the brand’s vision, merging traditional Italian artistry with contemporary design.
At the event, Maserati welcomed guests to the Terrazza Italiana by Giorgetti, a historic design firm known for its Italian craftsmanship. The beautifully curated outdoor space highlighted the GranCabrio Folgore Tignanello alongside a showcase of classic and modern vehicles from other luxury brands, attracting connoisseurs and enthusiasts alike.
Event attendees also had the exclusive opportunity to participate in test drives of Maserati’s latest models, including the GranTurismo, GranCabrio Trofeo and Folgore, MC20 Cielo, and Grecale Folgore. They indulged in a unique wine tasting experience led by experts from Marchesi Antinori, further enhancing the event’s luxurious atmosphere.
A highlight of the Chantilly Arts & Elegance was the Concours d’Etat, featuring 100 extraordinary vehicles from top collectors worldwide, including several classic Maseratis such as the A6G54, 5000GT, and Quattroporte.
Giovanni Perosino, Maserati’s Chief Marketing & Communication Officer, expressed his enthusiasm for the GranCabrio Folgore Tignanello’s debut, stating, “This event marks a significant moment for us, celebrating our prestigious collaboration with Marchesi Antinori. The GranCabrio Folgore Tignanello embodies our commitment to Italian craftsmanship and luxury.
