Over 50,000 bookings already; Hyundai sweetens the deal with added comfort and convenience
Gurugram:
Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) has expanded the portfolio of its all-new Hyundai Venue with the introduction of a fresh HX5+ variant, priced at ₹9,99,900 (ex-showroom). As the name suggests, the “plus” here is not just for decoration—it brings along a healthy dose of style, comfort, and everyday usability.
Positioned smartly within the Venue lineup, the new HX5+ variant is powered by Hyundai’s trusted Kappa 1.2-litre petrol engine paired with a manual transmission, and is aimed at customers who want more features without stepping too far up the price ladder.
More Features, Less Compromise
The HX5+ variant adds several convenience and style upgrades that make daily driving a little more comfortable—and parking a little more satisfying. Key highlights include roof rails, quad beam LED headlamps, rear window sunshade, wireless smartphone charger, driver console armrest with storage, rear wiper and washer, and a driver power window with auto up-down and safety function. In short, Hyundai has checked many boxes that buyers usually tick after the test drive.
These additions further strengthen the Venue’s reputation as one of the most feature-packed compact SUVs in its segment—proof that good things can indeed come in sub-4-metre packages.
Customer Response Driving the Strategy
Commenting on the introduction, Tarun Garg, Managing Director & CEO, Hyundai Motor India Limited, said the response to the all-new Venue has been nothing short of encouraging, with over 50,000 bookings already received. He noted that the HX5+ variant enhances the model’s value proposition by aligning closely with evolving customer expectations around comfort and convenience.
He further reiterated HMIL’s long-standing commitment to India and Indian customers, stating that the new variant marks another step in Hyundai’s journey to deliver products that match the aspirations of modern car buyers—without making them feel they should have bought the next variant up.
Small Upgrade, Big Comfort
Alongside the HX5+ launch, Hyundai has also quietly improved the HX4 variant, which now gets a driver seat height adjustment feature—an update many drivers will appreciate on long commutes and weekend getaways alike.
With continuous refinements, feature-rich variants, and a strong booking momentum, Hyundai Motor India Limited continues to fine-tune the Venue portfolio, ensuring that buyers always feel they’re getting a little more than what they paid for—sometimes even with a “plus” badge to prove it.
