Tata Motors CV Division Accelerates Past 35,500 Units in November 2025 — Trucks Are Back in Business!

Mumbai: Proving once again that India’s highways love a sturdy pair of wheels, Tata Motors Limited recorded strong commercial vehicle (CV) sales in November 2025, registering 35,539 units sold in the domestic and international markets. That’s a solid 29% year-on-year jump compared to 27,636 units in November 2024 — proof that the economy is moving, cargo is rolling, and drivers are very much in business.

At the heart of this growth are Tata Motors’ Medium & Heavy Commercial Vehicles (MH&ICV) — the true workhorses of India’s logistics chain. Domestic MH&ICV sales clocked 16,118 units, up 29% YoY from 12,481 units in November last year. Whether it’s construction payloads, industrial shipments, or those mysterious tarpaulin-covered goods we keep guessing about, the heavy-duty fleet pulled more than its weight.

Zooming out to include both domestic and international markets, MH&ICV sales touched 17,607 units, up a robust 33% YoY compared to 13,230 units in November 2024. For a segment often described as the “backbone of India’s economy,” this month’s numbers feel less like a backbone and more like a hypertrophied bicep flexing at the toll booth.

Industry analysts note that infrastructural activity, festive freight movement spillovers, and improved financing sentiment may have contributed to the growth. And while Tata Motors didn’t make any bold statements this time around, the numbers do enough talking — like a confident trucker who knows his turbo boost is coming on perfectly at 1,800 rpm.

Whether it’s tippers digging, trailers hauling, or long-haul tractors cruising across the golden quadrilateral, Tata Motors is clearly enjoying a strong tailwind. If November is a taste of what’s to come, 2025 might just be the year we see CVs humming louder than EV pop-ups at a mall.
