New Delhi: Maruti Suzuki India Limited (MSIL) revved up September 2025 with total sales of 189,665 units, continuing its long-standing tradition of making monthly sales charts look like racetracks.
The tally includes domestic sales of 135,711 units, sales to other OEMs at 11,750 units, and a roaring export figure of 42,204 units — the latter cruising to an all-time monthly high.
While the festive spirit often fuels customer enthusiasm, this year the GST reform acted like a turbocharger. With simplified taxes and better affordability, Maruti recorded a record-breaking 165,000 deliveries in just the first eight days of Navratri, proving that when sentiment is strong, so is the booking counter.
Interestingly, the company added that the domestic wholesale figure should be viewed in the context of logistical constraints towards the end of the month — or, as one might put it, even India’s largest carmaker occasionally faces a traffic jam on the dispatch ramp.
With festive demand accelerating and exports hitting the fast lane, Maruti Suzuki seems firmly in control of the wheel, ready to steer through Q4 with the same confidence as a veteran driver on the Yamuna Expressway.
