India’s only mobility-tech startup in Google’s Accelerator: Apps cohort aims to make refuelling smarter, faster, and a little less frustrating.
New Delhi – In a country where finding a fuel station can sometimes feel like a side quest in an open-world video game, Nawgati is making pit stops smarter—and Google just gave them a turbo boost.
The Delhi-based fuel-tech startup has been selected for the Google for Startups Accelerator: Apps Programme, rubbing digital shoulders with 19 other handpicked innovators from across India. But Nawgati isn’t just any participant—it’s the only mobility-tech app in this elite cohort, and it’s here to prove that refuelling doesn’t have to feel like rolling the dice.
Armed with AI, real-time data, and an app that knows fuel stations better than your cab driver uncle, Nawgati is now gearing up for a three-month mentorship marathon under Google’s watchful eye. From product development to UX wizardry, Google’s global experts will help the startup fine-tune its platform so Indian drivers can spend less time guessing and more time going.
“We’re honoured to be part of Google’s accelerator,” said Vaibhav Kaushik, CEO and Co-founder of Nawgati. “This isn’t just about tech support; it’s about fuelling a movement—literally.”
Already backed by GAIL, the Department of Science and Technology, MeitY Startup Hub, and others who know a good thing when they see it, Nawgati is rapidly becoming the traffic controller of India’s fuel stations. Its AI-driven app lets users find open pumps, avoid long queues, and get route-based suggestions—so that your only fuel drama is choosing between petrol and diesel.
With thousands of users on the platform and a growing footprint in the EV charging space as well, Nawgati’s journey is proof that innovation doesn’t always come with a steering wheel—but it definitely knows the way forward.
As Nawgati joins Google’s digital pit crew, one thing’s clear: the future of fuelling in India may just arrive before your tank hits empty.
