From Flood to Fix: Nissan Throws a Lifeline to Waterlogged Wheels Across India

Gurugram — When the rains came pouring and cars turned into boats (unwillingly), Nissan Motor India decided it was time to launch not just vehicles, but hope. In a show of automotive compassion, the company has announced a full-scale support program for its flood-hit customers — because even when your engine’s underwater, customer care shouldn’t be.

From free towing services (no rafts required) to extended service hours (because disasters don’t punch out at 5 PM), Nissan’s initiative is a masterclass in empathetic engineering. The company’s new flood support helpdesk at 1800 209 3456 promises personalized assistance — a hotline for your soggy sedan’s SOS.

As part of this rescue mission, affected customers can float into their nearest Nissan workshop and enjoy a 10% discount on engine oil and oil filter replacement — because a bit of pampering never hurt a waterlogged engine. There’s also an additional 10% off on floor carpet replacement, which, let’s face it, is now more swimming pool than sedan.

But that’s not all. Nissan is also helping customers navigate the stormy waters of insurance claims. With assistance on documentation and even covering the excess clause fee, the brand is making sure paperwork doesn’t become yet another disaster to deal with.

Saurabh Vatsa, Managing Director, Nissan Motor India Pvt. Ltd., reflected on the initiative with heartfelt clarity:
“A car is more than a machine — it’s a mobile lifeline. During tough times like these, we want our customers to know they’re not alone. We’re here with our boots on and service ramps ready.”

In short, while the floods may have put half the city under water, Nissan’s response has been anything but shallow. With heart, help, and hydraulic lifts, they’re making sure India’s Nissans are back on the road — drier, safer, and definitely better cared for.

Because when the going gets wet, the dependable get wrenching.
