HPCL and Tata Motors Unveil Co-Branded DEF to Power Cleaner and More Efficient Commercial Vehicles

Mumbai: In a major move towards sustainable and efficient commercial transportation, Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd. (HPCL), a Maharatna Oil Company, has teamed up with Tata Motors, India’s leading commercial vehicle manufacturer, to launch their co-branded Genuine Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF). Manufactured in BIS-approved facilities that adhere to the highest industry standards, the co-branded Genuine DEF is set to be available through HPCL’s expansive retail network of over 23,000 fuel stations across India. An essential requirement for BS6-compliant diesel vehicles, DEF plays a crucial role in reducing harmful emissions by converting nitrogen oxides into harmless nitrogen and water.
