Automaker Expands Accessibility with Enhanced Customer Experience in Key Naval City
Visakhapatnam – Nissan Motor India Pvt. Ltd. (NMIPL) has reinforced its footprint in Andhra Pradesh by inaugurating two new customer touchpoints—a showroom and a state-of-the-art service workshop—in Visakhapatnam. This strategic expansion is set to enhance accessibility for customers in the high-growth region, including defence personnel from the Eastern Naval Command.

The latest additions include the Orange Nissan-Vizag showroom, spanning 4,270 sq. ft., designed to offer an immersive experience for customers exploring Nissan’s product lineup. Complementing this is a comprehensive service workshop, which features an 11,302 sq. ft. covered area and 18,100 sq. ft. open space, equipped with cutting-edge automotive service technology to ensure efficient maintenance and repairs.
The inauguration ceremony was graced by Rear Admiral M Murali Mohan Raju, NM, Chief Staff Officer (Personnel and Administration), Eastern Naval Command, along with Commodore Amarjeet Saluja (Oi/C Naval Projects Management Team) and Captain NR Chakravarthy (Regional Manager, INCS). The dignitaries toured the newly opened facilities, which promise top-tier service backed by a team of well-trained professionals dedicated to delivering premium customer experiences.
Expanding Footprint in Andhra Pradesh
With the addition of these two touchpoints, Nissan now operates 14 locations across Andhra Pradesh, comprising 7 showrooms and 7 service centers. The move comes in response to growing demand in the state, particularly among members of the armed forces, reinforcing Nissan’s commitment to providing seamless sales and service experiences.
Speaking at the launch event, Saurabh Vatsa, Managing Director, Nissan Motor India, emphasized the brand’s focus on expansion and customer-centricity:
“We are delighted to enhance our presence in Andhra Pradesh with this new showroom and service workshop in Visakhapatnam. The state has shown strong potential, driven by a robust customer base, including defence personnel and a thriving automotive market. Nissan remains committed to strengthening its operations in India by expanding our dealer network, enhancing service infrastructure, and catering to evolving customer needs.”
Special Benefits for Defence Personnel & Nationwide Expansion
In a move to further support its growing customer base, Nissan recently rolled out the ‘Bold for the Brave’ initiative, offering special deals on its best-selling Nissan Magnite for defence personnel, state and central police forces, and paramilitary personnel across India. The Magnite has been a popular choice among buyers through the CSD (Canteen Stores Department) network, known for its robust design, reliability, and value-for-money proposition.
Further demonstrating its commitment to the Indian market, Nissan recently launched the Nissan Academy, its first National Training Centre at the Alliance JV plant in Chennai. This initiative aims to bolster the skills of Nissan’s dealership and service staff across the country, reinforcing the automaker’s dedication to customer service excellence.
Nissan Magnite: ‘Make-in-India, Make-for-the-World’ Vision
The brand continues to strengthen its global footprint with the export of the Nissan Magnite Left-Hand Drive (LHD) version to over 65 international markets. More than 10,000 units have been shipped between January and February, underscoring the SUV’s international appeal.
The New Nissan Magnite, priced between ₹5.99 lakh and ₹11.50 lakh, offers over 20 first-in-segment features and 55+ safety enhancements, positioning it as a top contender in the compact SUV segment. With its bold, rugged styling and superior road presence, the Magnite continues to embody Nissan’s ‘Make-in-India’ ethos, serving both domestic and global markets with distinction.
As Nissan continues to invest in infrastructure, innovation, and customer engagement, the new showroom and service facility in Visakhapatnam mark another significant step in its India growth strategy. With an expanding network and a strong product portfolio, Nissan is well-positioned to cater to the evolving needs of Indian car buyers.
