Gurugram: Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) has officially unveiled the much-anticipated Hyundai Creta Electric, marking a historic leap for the company and the Indian electric vehicle market. With the tagline, “India is now Ready; Electric is now Creta,” Hyundai’s electrifying new addition promises to redefine the future of SUVs by merging cutting-edge technology with a sustainable driving experience.


Electrifying Design: Where Innovation Meets Style

The Hyundai Creta Electric is a bold testament to Hyundai’s forward-thinking Pixel design language, bringing fresh aesthetics to India’s EV landscape. Its standout features include:

  • Pixelated Graphics: A unique pixelated front grille integrated with a charging port and matching rear bumper design, paired with pixelated LED tail lamps, gives the SUV a futuristic edge.
  • Active Air Flaps (AAF): Strategically placed for superior aerodynamics, these flaps optimize airflow, enhance cooling, and improve efficiency.
  • R17 Aero Alloy Wheels: Paired with Low Rolling Resistance (LRR) tyres, these wheels boost range and provide an aerodynamic profile.

Performance That Thrills

Available in two configurations, the Creta Electric caters to both urban commuters and long-distance travelers:

  • 51.4 kWh (Long Range): Up to 473 km of driving range per charge.
  • 42 kWh: A range of 390 km per charge.

Acceleration enthusiasts will be thrilled with a 0-100 km/h sprint in just 7.9 seconds (Long Range model). Charging options add to the convenience, with:

  • Fast DC Charging: 10%-80% in just 58 minutes.
  • 11 kW AC Home Charger: Full charge in 4 hours.

The Hyundai Creta Electric embraces advanced technology for a seamless driving experience:

  • Vehicle-to-Load (V2L): Transform your car into a portable power source, perfect for powering external devices.
  • i-Pedal Technology: Simplifies driving by enabling acceleration, deceleration, and stopping with a single pedal.
  • Shift-by-Wire System: Futuristic and intuitive gear control for effortless driving.
  • Digital Key: Use your smartphone or smartwatch to lock, unlock, and start the vehicle.

Hyundai Creta Electric will be offered in four variants—Executive, Smart, Premium, and Excellence. With 8 monotone and 2 dual-tone color options, including striking matte finishes and the exclusive ocean blue metallic with a black roof, the Creta Electric stands out in any crowd.


Hyundai’s Vision for an EV Ecosystem

Hyundai is not just building cars but also creating an EV-ready India. The company plans to establish 600 fast-charging stations by 2032 while empowering users through the myHyundai app, which provides access to over 10,000 EV charging points across the country.
