Hyundai Motor Company has unveiled its completely redesigned flagship SUV, the All-New Palisade, marking a significant milestone in the large SUV market. Revealed on December 6, this next-generation model elevates the Palisade’s distinctive character with a more imposing and sophisticated design.
Introduced six years after its initial launch in November 2018, the fully revamped Palisade blends robust aesthetics with premium craftsmanship, underscoring its dominance in the competitive SUV market. Hyundai aims to further solidify its position in the large SUV segment by showcasing a vehicle that prioritizes both commanding presence and exceptional passenger comfort.
A New Standard of Commanding Presence
The All-New Palisade boasts a striking front-end design with vertically oriented daytime running lights (DRL) and a bold radiator grille, delivering a strong first impression. Complementing this are futuristic center-positioned lamps, balanced against an elevated hood, creating the effect of a monumental sculpture.
On the sides, shortened front overhangs, a longer wheelbase, and extended rear overhangs contribute to its sturdier proportions. The dynamic 21-inch wheels enhance its sleek profile while maintaining a clean, elegant appearance. A horizontal character line that seamlessly blends with the beltline adds a sense of simplicity and luxury. Meanwhile, the integrated D-pillar design enhances the vehicle’s bold, cohesive look.
At the rear, the vertically aligned tail lamps echo the front’s design language, accentuating the vehicle’s wide stance and delivering a harmonious aesthetic.
Luxury Reimagined: A Refined Interior
Hyundai introduces the concept of a “Premium Living Space” with the All-New Palisade’s interior. Inspired by luxury home furniture, the horizontal layout creates a warm, inviting atmosphere. Enhanced dimensions—achieved through a longer wheelbase—offer ample cabin space tailored to modern family lifestyles.
The centerpiece is a panoramic curved display that integrates a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and an infotainment screen, ensuring superior visibility and cutting-edge connectivity. Meanwhile, the detached island-style center console optimizes practicality, offering wireless charging, USB-C ports (supporting up to 100W), expansive storage, and a two-way opening console box.
For added versatility, the All-New Palisade introduces Hyundai’s first center console seat in the first row, which can double as a middle seat or storage space. This innovation enables a 9-passenger configuration, qualifying the vehicle for specific tax benefits and business-use incentives in Korea.
Tailored for Families and Premium Experiences
The second row offers configurable seating options, including a 7-passenger layout with independent captain’s chairs or a 9-passenger arrangement with split-folding seats. The third-row seats feature a standard 6:4 split and larger quarter glass for an open, airy feel.
Hyundai has also expanded the Palisade’s palette, introducing four new exterior colors—Ecotronic Gray Pearl, Cast Iron Brown Pearl, Galaxy Maroon Pearl, and Clazzy Blue Pearl—alongside classic shades like Abyss Black Pearl and Creamy White Pearl. Interior options include five refined tones such as Navy Two-Tone and Dark Gray Two-Tone, emphasizing premium craftsmanship.
