Chennai – In a milestone move under its “One Car, One World” philosophy, Nissan Motor India has launched global exports of its New Nissan Magnite SUV. With over 2,700 units shipped to South Africa within just one month of its debut, the compact SUV continues to underscore India’s significance as a key manufacturing hub for Nissan’s global strategy.
The New Nissan Magnite, produced at the Alliance JV plant in Chennai, is set to conquer over 65 international markets, including Left-Hand Drive territories. Following its October 2024 unveiling in New Delhi, the revamped Magnite builds on the success of its predecessor, which has already sold more than 150,000 units globally since its December 2020 launch.
