Mumbai: Tata Motors Limited reported a robust performance in October 2024, with a total of 82,682 units sold across domestic and international markets. This figure remains steady compared to the 82,954 units sold in October 2023, reflecting resilience in a challenging automotive landscape.
In the commercial vehicle (CV) segment, Tata Motors maintained its performance with total sales of 34,259 units, mirroring the results from the previous year. The medium and heavy commercial vehicle (MH&ICV) category, covering trucks and buses, saw a slight uptick, achieving 15,574 units in the domestic market in October 2024, compared to 15,211 units in October 2023. When including international sales, MH&ICV vehicles collectively reached 16,274 units, reflecting a stable growth trajectory from the 16,048 units recorded last October.
Passenger vehicle (PV) sales also showed stability, with 48,423 units sold in October 2024, consistent with October 2023. This figure highlights Tata Motors’ ongoing market resilience despite varied consumer demand and evolving market dynamics.
As Tata Motors navigates the evolving automotive market, these results underscore the company’s focus on maintaining a strong presence across both domestic and international segments.
