In collaboration with Porsche Asia Pacific, the skilled artisans of Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur have introduced a one-of-a-kind creation: the Taycan Turbo S Celestial Jade. This electric sports car, inspired by the precious gemstone jade, takes luxury and innovation to unprecedented heights. Featuring an exclusive pigmented paint, the car’s appearance shifts with the light, mimicking the dynamic beauty of jade’s natural metamorphosis.
Much like jade, formed over thousands of years through heat and pressure deep within the Earth, the Taycan Turbo S Celestial Jade transforms before your eyes. Its unique Chromaflair paintwork blends hues of “Urban Bamboo,” a vibrant green with yellow and gold undertones, and “Shifting Carbon,” a dark grey with black and blue accents. This dual-tone effect mirrors the depth and elegance of jade, a stone revered for its association with good fortune and longevity in Southeast Asia.
Porsche’s vision goes beyond aesthetics. The Taycan Turbo S Celestial Jade, set to debut on September 5th at a special event in Singapore, symbolizes the fusion of tradition and cutting-edge technology. The car pays homage to the cultural significance of jade while incorporating modern engineering advancements, such as increased power, improved range, and faster charging capabilities in the 2024 Taycan model lineup.
Adding to its allure, the vehicle features a bespoke logo inspired by the mythical “LongMa,” a creature with the head of a dragon and the body of a horse, symbolizing strength and prosperity. This nod to the upcoming Chinese Year of the Dragon and the origin of the Taycan’s name, meaning “young horse,” further deepens the car’s connection to its Southeast Asian roots.
With custom carbon-weave components, a luxurious “Leather to Sample” interior in Slate Grey and Englishgreen, and hand-crafted details throughout, the Taycan Turbo S Celestial Jade is not just a car—it’s a tribute to both Porsche’s engineering excellence and the rich cultural heritage of jade. After its debut, this masterpiece will embark on a tour of Southeast Asia before being auctioned for charity in 2025.
