Global Racing Teams to Benefit from Enhanced Braking, Handling, and Cooling in New Model
Toyota Gazoo Racing (TGR) has officially launched the GR Supra GT4 EVO2, designed for the 2025 racing season, with an emphasis on significantly improved performance, reliability, and ease of operation. This new model incorporates extensive feedback from racing teams and drivers worldwide, ensuring it meets the rigorous demands of competitive motorsports.
Since its debut in 2020, the GR Supra GT4 has garnered substantial acclaim, selling over 120 units globally. With the support of race organizers and customers, the model has achieved more than 500 podium finishes and claimed GT4-series titles in Asia, the United States, and Europe.
Building on the success of the previous GR Supra GT4 EVO, which enhanced braking, handling, and engine performance, TGR has taken their commitment to “driver-first car-making” to the next level. The new GR Supra GT4 EVO2 benefits from extensive on-track testing, with ABS maps finely tuned for optimal braking and cornering. The model also features reduced downshifting time, improved cooling performance across key components, and optimized cockpit temperatures, making it more accessible for both professional and amateur racers.
The GR Supra GT4 EVO2 will make its global debut in January 2025 at the IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge, alongside the 24 Hours of Daytona. Sales and support will be managed by TGR’s regional offices across Europe, North America, Asia, and China, with the expected price in Europe set at 202,000 euros (INR 1.89 crore).
This latest iteration of the GR Supra GT4 continues TGR’s mission to create ever-better motorsports-bred vehicles, further solidifying its reputation in the global racing community.
