Deliveries, Revenues, and Operating Income Reach All-Time Highs
Sant’Agata Bolognese, July 29, 2024 – Automobili Lamborghini has achieved unparalleled success in the first half of 2024, setting new records in deliveries, revenues, and operating income. This remarkable performance is driven by the commercial triumph of their three flagship models: the Revuelto, Urus, and Huracán, all produced at their Sant’Agata Bolognese plant.
In the first six months of the year, Lamborghini delivered 5,558 vehicles, generating €1,621 million in revenue—an impressive 14.1% increase over the same period in 2023. The operating profit soared to an unprecedented €458 million.
“We are extremely proud of the results we achieved in the first half of 2024,” said Stephan Winkelmann, Chairman and CEO of Automobili Lamborghini. “We are going through a pivotal phase, supported by the largest investment in the company’s history, with the main objective of expanding our product offering. This process demands significant resources, yet these efforts are essential to sustain our growth and ensure that Automobili Lamborghini continues to innovate and lead in the luxury super sports car sector.”
Lamborghini’s profitability also reached a record 28.2%, reflecting the success of its strategic approach and a well-balanced delivery and financial model. Paolo Poma, Managing Director and CFO of Automobili Lamborghini, noted, “We are pleased that our growth path has been consolidated once again. The positive trend and strong order bank bolster confidence so that, even in a year marked by the transition to hybrid, we can confirm growth of the key financial and business metrics, reflecting the brand’s strength in the luxury and super sports segment.”
Geographically, deliveries were evenly distributed across the EMEA, Americas, and APAC regions, with 2,498, 1,849, and 1,211 vehicles delivered, respectively. The United States led individual markets with 1,621 cars delivered, followed by Germany (595), the United Kingdom (514), Japan (354), China (including Hong Kong and Macao) (337), and Italy (268). The order bank remains robust, with the Revuelto commanding a wait time of over two years and the Huracán fully booked until its production ends in December. The recently unveiled Urus SE has also been met with strong customer enthusiasm, with orders covering around one year’s production.
These exceptional results underscore the effectiveness of Lamborghini’s Direzione Cor Tauri program, which is focused on continuous decarbonization. A significant milestone is approaching with the unveiling of the Huracán successor at Monterey Car Week on August 16. This new High Performance Electrified Vehicle (HPEV) will complete the hybridization of Lamborghini’s range, featuring a twin-turbo V8 engine paired with a hybrid system, promising unmatched performance and driving experience.
