Audi’s Q4 35 e-tron Delivers Impressive Range and Advanced Features at Competitive Price
Audi is expanding its Q4 e-tron lineup with the introduction of the Q4 35 e-tron, a highly versatile and attractively priced entry-level model. Starting at €45,600 (INR 41.56 lakh), this new variant aims to make electric mobility more accessible without compromising on performance or luxury. The Q4 Sportback 35 e-tron, featuring a sleek rear design, is available for €47,600.
The Q4 35 e-tron boasts a 55 kWh (52 kWh net) battery, offering a range of up to 355 kilometers for the compact SUV and 365 kilometers for the Sportback variant. With a 125 kW (170 hp) motor, this model delivers robust driving performance, accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in just 9.0 seconds and reaching a top speed of 160 km/h. The advanced battery technology allows for rapid charging, increasing the battery level from 10 to 80 percent in just 25 minutes at fast-charging stations. In optimal conditions, drivers can recharge up to 125 kilometers (130 kilometers for the Sportback) in merely ten minutes.
Cutting-Edge Connectivity and Infotainment
Audi has integrated a new level of connectivity into the Q4 35 e-tron. From July, the vehicle’s Multi-Media Interface (MMI) will include the Audi Application Store, offering direct access to popular third-party apps like Spotify and Audible without needing a smartphone. This innovation is complemented by a 25 GB data package for one year, which customers can activate via Cubic Telecom at no extra cost.
The updated navigation system allows for precise charge planning, letting users set a desired battery charge level for their destination or select charging stations from specific providers like IONITY. Additionally, the smartphone interface ensures seamless content transfer to the MMI touch display, supporting both wireless and USB-C cable connections.
Enhanced Voice Control with ChatGPT Integration
Audi is taking voice control to the next level by integrating ChatGPT into the Q4 e-tron series. This advanced feature, provided via Microsoft’s Azure OpenAI Service, enables drivers to control infotainment, navigation, and air conditioning using natural language. ChatGPT also answers everyday questions, enhancing driving safety by allowing drivers to stay focused on the road.
Comprehensive Standard Equipment
Priced at €45,600, the Q4 35 e-tron comes with extensive standard equipment, including Audi MMI navigation plus, Audi Connect navigation and infotainment, and a fully digital 10.25-inch Audi virtual cockpit instrument cluster. Additional features include an electrically operated boot lid with foot gesture control (when paired with the optional convenience key) and heated front seats. The Q4 35 e-tron and its Sportback counterpart are now available for order in both body variants.
The Audi Q4 35 e-tron represents a significant step forward in making premium electric mobility more accessible. With its impressive range, rapid charging capabilities, advanced connectivity features, and extensive standard equipment, this new model is poised to attract a wide range of customers looking to enter the electric vehicle market.
