Maserati Opens Bookings for Grecale SUV in India, Starting at INR 1.35 Crore

New Delhi, India — Maserati has officially opened bookings for its highly anticipated Grecale luxury SUV in India, with prices starting around INR 1.35 crore plus additional options. The exact pricing details will be unveiled at the launch, scheduled for the first week of August. The company has already received a significant number of orders, indicating strong market interest.

The Maserati Grecale (Tipo M182) is a sophisticated front-engine, five-door, five-passenger compact luxury crossover SUV, produced at the Stellantis-owned Cassino Plant since March 2022. Built on the Giorgio platform, which it shares with the Alfa Romeo Stelvio and the fifth-generation Jeep Grand Cherokee, the Grecale’s name is inspired by the Mediterranean wind, Gregale.

The Grecale was first announced during the unveiling of the Maserati MC20 sports car in late 2020, as a smaller sibling to the Levante SUV. It boasts a cutting-edge interior with a 12.3-inch TFT Cluster, two central displays (12.3-inch and 8.8-inch) divided by a digital gear shifter, and an optional head-up display, epitomizing digital minimalism.

Equipped with Level 2 Advanced Driving Assistance Systems, the Grecale offers top-tier driving automation support. It is available in various configurations, including mild hybrid inline-four powertrains and a high-performance V6 engine in the Trofeo variant, delivering 522 hp and 620 Nm of torque. Additionally, the Grecale Folgore, a fully electric version, features a 105 kWh battery, dual motors generating a combined 542 hp and 820 Nm of torque. The base GT variant comes with an inline-four cylinder engine producing 295 hp and a top speed of 240 km/h.

With its blend of luxury, performance, and advanced technology, the Maserati Grecale is poised to make a significant impact on the Indian luxury SUV market.
