Enhanced Rear-Wheel Drive Model Offers 641 Kilometers Range and Fast Charging Capabilities
Audi has announced a new, highly efficient drive variant for the Audi Q6 e-tron ahead of its official market launch in August. The all-electric SUV now includes a rear-wheel drive option featuring a powerful 240 kW output and a 100 kWh HV battery, extending its range to an impressive 641 kilometers (according to WLTP standards). This makes it the top performer within the Q6 e-tron family. Additionally, it can recharge up to 260 kilometers in just 10 minutes at suitable high-power charging (HPC) stations.
This new variant, available from 68,800 EUR (INR 61.96 lakh), joins the Audi Q6 e-tron quattro and the sporty SQ6 e-tron in the lineup. It highlights Audi’s commitment to expanding their electric vehicle offerings with flexible, efficient platforms. The Q6 e-tron performance model, with its permanent magnet synchronous motor, accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.6 seconds, making it an attractive choice for those seeking extended range and dynamic performance.
Deliveries for this new variant are planned for the third quarter of the year, following the scheduled August deliveries for the Q6 e-tron quattro and SQ6 e-tron models.
