The E-308 SW is a game-changer in the electric estate segment, boasting a 115kW (156hp) motor and a 54kWh battery. Its range? An impressive 254 miles per charge, making it the new poster child for efficiency with 4.93 miles per kWh. It’s not just about power; this model comes with a standard heat pump for top-tier efficiency and comfort.
Drivers can switch between three driving modes – Eco, Normal, and Sport – and engage the ‘Brake’ mode for energy recovery. Charging is a breeze with its onboard 11kW charger, and a rapid 100kW DC charger can power it from 20-80% in under 25 minutes.
Styling is key with Peugeot, and the E-308 SW doesn’t disappoint. The large vertical grille proudly showcases the Peugeot emblem, flanked by fang-shaped daytime running lights and LED headlamps. The GT trim adds Matrix LED Technology for superior nighttime visibility. The rear features the iconic three-claw light signature and an ‘E’ badge, with new 18-inch ‘Ottawa’ alloy wheels designed for aerodynamic efficiency.
Inside, the E-308 SW is a tech haven with Peugeot’s i-Cockpit technology, including a compact steering wheel, customizable digital instrument cluster, and a 10-inch central touchscreen. The interior offers up to 32 litres of storage, heated steering wheel, heated front seats, USB-C sockets for rear passengers, and a spacious boot.
The MyPeugeot smartphone application enhances the experience, allowing drivers to check battery status, remotely start charging, and control cabin pre-conditioning.
The E-308 SW comes in two trims: Allure and GT. Prices start from £41,250 (INR 43.61 lakh) in Allure specification, with the GT trim at £43,320 (INR 45.80 lakh). First deliveries are expected from February 2024.
Peugeot has also streamlined its 308 range for the 2024 model year, reducing trim options to Active, Allure, and GT. These models feature updated exteriors, comfortable interiors with advanced tech, and a range of driver assistance systems.
