Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) has successfully concluded its aptly named ‘Test Driven By 100’ campaign—one of India’s most extensive and arguably most adventurous electric vehicle road tests. The star of this long-distance love story with the road? A single Hyundai Creta Electric, proving that EVs can survive Indian conditions without asking for sympathy breaks.
The numbers read like a road-trip enthusiast’s dream: 100 creators, 200+ destinations, over 15,000 kilometres, and 100+ days of continuous driving. Flagged off from Hyundai’s state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Chennai and concluding in Srinagar, the journey spanned 10 states and 26 cities, taking the Creta Electric through almost every terrain India could throw at it—coastal humidity, desert heat, urban traffic chaos, steep ghats, snow-covered roads and everything in between.
From crawling through dense city congestion to gliding across highways and climbing into the hills, the Creta Electric didn’t just clock kilometres—it clocked confidence. Along the way, the campaign also created serious digital buzz, racking up an impressive 526 million+ views, 35 million+ likes, 21,000+ comments, and over 240,000 shares, proving that EV conversations travel fast when backed by real stories and real roads.
Commenting on the success of the initiative, Mr. Tarun Garg, Whole-Time Director & Chief Operating Officer, Hyundai Motor India Limited, said, “The ‘Test Driven By 100’ campaign stands as a powerful testimony to Hyundai’s commitment of introducing advanced, future-ready technologies for India. In today’s digital-first era, authentic storytelling plays a critical role in connecting with audiences. By partnering with 100 creators, we brought diverse cultural and geographical perspectives to life while validating the performance, reliability and efficiency of the Hyundai Creta Electric in real-world Indian conditions.”
What truly set the campaign apart was its human element. By handing the wheel—and the camera—to 100 creators from across the country, Hyundai turned a technical endurance test into a cultural journey. Each creator added their own narrative, capturing India’s diversity while reinforcing a simple message: electric mobility in India is no longer a future concept—it’s already on the road.
With ‘Test Driven By 100’, Hyundai has not only set a new benchmark for EV endurance testing but also demonstrated that the Creta Electric is ready for India’s roads, moods, and miles. Because when an EV can handle 15,000 kilometres of India, range anxiety might finally need a holiday.
