Porsche 911 GT3 Arrives in India at INR 3.32 Crore With 510 PS Naturally Aspirated Engine

Porsche has launched the 911 GT3 in India at INR 3.32 crore, bringing one of its most focused road-legal performance cars to the market with a 4.0-litre naturally aspirated six-cylinder engine, 510 PS of power and a top speed of 311 kmph.

The latest 911 GT3 continues a lineage that, for almost 25 years, has been defined by motorsport-derived engineering and a clear preference for physics over comfort-zone motoring. In other words, it is not the 911 for a quiet grocery run — unless the grocery store has a pit lane.

At the heart of the car is a six-cylinder horizontally opposed naturally aspirated engine with a displacement of 3,996 cc. The motor produces 510 PS and 450 Nm of torque, allowing the GT3 to accelerate from 0-100 kmph in 3.4 seconds. The engine can rev up to 9,000 rpm, underscoring the model’s track-focused character.

Power is sent through a 7-speed Porsche Doppelkupplung, or PDK, gearbox with short gear ratios and a sports setup. Drivers can operate the transmission manually through gearshift paddles on the steering wheel or via the manual gate of the PDK gear selector.

The 911 GT3 also gets Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus, or PTV Plus, which includes an electronically regulated rear differential lock with fully variable torque distribution. In combination with the PDK transmission, the system is designed to improve traction and stability during high-performance driving.

Porsche has equipped the GT3 with Porsche Active Suspension Management, or PASM, featuring a sports setup and a ride height lowered by approximately 20 mm compared with the 911 Carrera. The suspension can also be adjusted for racing use, including toe angle, camber and anti-roll bars.

The chassis features a double wishbone front suspension with integrated helper springs, an anti-roll bar and ball-jointed suspension mountings. At the rear, the car uses a multi-link axle with integrated helper springs, an anti-roll bar and selected ball-jointed suspension mountings.

Braking hardware includes six-piston aluminium monobloc fixed brake calipers at the front and four-piston aluminium monobloc fixed brake calipers at the rear. The GT3 uses composite brake discs with aluminium brake chambers, internally ventilated and dimpled discs measuring 408 mm at the front and 380 mm at the rear. An electrically operated parking brake and brake pad wear monitoring are also included.

The engine uses an aluminium block and cylinder head with water cooling, four-valve technology with rocker arms, dry sump lubrication with a separate engine oil tank, direct fuel injection and VarioCam camshaft adjustment for intake and exhaust valves. It also features forged titanium piston rods, a fully variable oil pressure pump, seven scavenge pumps, an oil centrifuge and additional oil supply via the crankshaft.

A variable plastic intake manifold with two switchable resonance valves and six individual throttle valves further supports the engine’s performance credentials. The car also comes with an auto start/stop function.

The 911 GT3 rides on 20-/21-inch 911 GT3 forged aluminium lightweight wheels. It also receives a lightweight stainless steel sports exhaust system with two central tailpipes finished in black. The exhaust system includes four three-way catalytic converters, a Gasoline Particulate Filter and on-board diagnostics for monitoring the emission control system.

Inside, the two-seater coupé gets Sports seats Plus with four-way electric adjustment, elevated side bolsters, electric height and backrest adjustment, and manual fore/aft adjustment for the driver and front passenger. A GT sports steering wheel finished in Race-Tex Black is also part of the package.

The car is equipped with Porsche Stability Management, including ABS, with two switchable stages: ESC OFF and ESC+TC OFF. These systems underline the GT3’s dual role as a road car with serious circuit intent.

With its India launch, the Porsche 911 GT3 adds another high-performance option for buyers seeking a sports car shaped as much by racetrack priorities as by road-going legality. At INR 3.32 crore, it remains a specialist machine — one that treats speed not as a headline figure alone, but as the result of engineering, balance and a very committed naturally aspirated engine.
