Mumbai: Mahindra & Mahindra has once again proved that when it comes to electrifying India, it doesn’t just join the race — it leads the charge, horn-first. In just seven months, the company has sold over 30,000 electric SUVs, creating what it calls an “electric roar” across Indian roads.
On Instagram, Mahindra put it simply (and stylishly): “It started with a belief to Unlimit India, and that belief has grown into an electric roar of over 30,000 Mahindra eSUVs on Indian roads in just 7 months. India, thank you for choosing to Scream Electric with us.”
⚡ The Charge Leaders: BE6 and XEV 9e
The dynamic duo powering this success story are the Mahindra BE6 and the XEV 9e — two names that have become synonymous with silent speed and serious style.
The BE6, starting at ₹18.90 lakh, offers two powerful battery options — a 59 kWh pack with 557 km range and a 79 kWh pack promising 500+ km (because who’s counting after 500, anyway?).
The XEV 9e, starting at ₹21.90 lakh, goes the distance — quite literally — with a 59 kWh variant offering 542 km and a 79 kWh monster stretching up to 656 km. That’s enough to drive from Kashmir to Delhi… and still have juice left for a late-night chai run.
🚙 What’s Next? A Bigger Scream
Mahindra isn’t done yet. The electric cavalry is set to grow with the upcoming XEV 9S, a 7-seater version of the 9e, ready to take families and fleets alike into the EV era. The world premiere will take place on 27 November 2025 at Mahindra’s much-anticipated ‘Scream Electric’ event in Bengaluru.
From its “Born Electric” vision to the increasingly viral “Scream Electric” movement, Mahindra has managed to turn volts into vibes. With 30,000 eSUVs already conquering Indian roads, it’s not just selling EVs — it’s selling belief, pride, and a little bit of electric mischief.
