New Delhi — Kia India has kicked off the festive season in style, shifting its growth into a higher gear. The carmaker clocked 22,700 units in September 2025, marking a 15.8% jump over the 19,608 units sold in August — proving that when GST gets simplified and Navratri lights come on, Indians are more than ready to park a new Kia in their driveways.
📈 Sales Momentum on a Roll
Year-to-date sales also painted a rosy picture, with 206,582 units retailed so far in 2025 — a healthy 7.2% increase over the 192,690 units during the same period last year. This double boost of policy reform and festive fervour has clearly supercharged Kia’s retail performance.
🚙 Powering the Growth Engine
Flagbearers of this growth included the Sonet, Carens, Carens Clavis, Seltos, Syros, and Carnival — a line-up that continues to charm customers with a mix of practicality, panache, and plentiful features. From city runabouts to feature-loaded family movers, Kia seems to have something for everyone this season.
Atul Sood, Senior VP, Sales & Marketing, Kia India, remarked,
“September 2025 marks a significant milestone for Kia India, driven by the positive impact of GST reforms and the festive season demand. The streamlined taxation framework has enhanced affordability and encouraged stronger customer engagement across our product portfolio. This robust growth reflects the enduring trust customers place in our brand, the strength of our innovative and feature-rich lineup, and our commitment to delivering superior mobility solutions.”
🌍 Global Ambitions Stay on Track
Kia’s growth story wasn’t limited to the domestic market. The company exported 2,606 units in September 2025, reinforcing its expanding global footprint and commitment to putting “Made-in-India” wheels on roads far beyond the subcontinent.
🌿 Driving Towards a Sustainable Future
Even as it rides this wave of growth, Kia remains focused on integrating advanced technology, comfort, and eco-friendly performance into its vehicles — proving that sustainability and scale can share the same road.
