S is for Savage: Aston Martin Vantage S Roars In with 680 Horses, Envy-Inducing Wings, and a Boot-Sized Ego

Move over Bond, there’s a new Vantage in town—and it’s flexing harder than a gym rat in peak season.

Aston Martin has just pulled the covers off its latest high-performance marvel: the Vantage S, a fire-breathing evolution of its front-engined sports car, now beefed up to a class-ruling 680PS and wrapped in a body so seductive, it may require a parental advisory sticker.

Just when you thought the standard Vantage couldn’t get more thrilling, the engineers at Gaydon clearly said, “Hold my Martini.”

Power Up, Sir

The beating heart of the Vantage S remains the formidable 4.0L V8 twin-turbo, but now it’s been given the red carpet treatment: 680PS of pure unfiltered drama, 800Nm of torque, and a 0-60mph time of just 3.3 seconds—which is about how long it takes to say “Oh my God” as you’re pinned to the back of the Alcantara seat.

The throttle pedal has been so precisely calibrated that even your right foot might blush at the attention. Aston insists it’s now a masterclass in connection and response. We say, it’s a well-behaved riot.

Handling Like a British Diplomat on Red Bull

But it’s not just brute force. The Vantage S has gone under the knife for a full handling facelift: Bilstein dampers reworked, rear subframe bolted tighter than British etiquette, and software tweaks that would make Silicon Valley envious. Result? More grip, more feel, more smug grins through tight corners.

It’s the kind of chassis refinement where you’re not just driving—you’re dancing.

Style That Slaps

On the outside, it’s a subtle show-off. A gloss black bonnet blade here, a carbon-fibre flourish there, and a decklid spoiler that adds 44kg of downforce at top speed—because nothing says “I mean business” like aerodynamics that could double as aircraft-grade engineering.

And for those worried about blending into the valet line, worry not. The discreet forged brass ‘S’ badges are so detailed they deserve their own gallery at the Tate Modern.

Interior: Alcantara Meets Savile Row

Inside, the Vantage S has been given the royal treatment. Alcantara, semi-aniline leather, and embroidery so intricate, it could rival your grandmother’s best doilies. Oh, and the drive mode selector is now anodised red or silver to match your mood, your stitching, and probably your cufflinks.

Optional chevron quilting and perforation patterns mean even the seatbacks are faster than yours.

Debuting at Goodwood: The Hill’s Not Ready

Aston Martin is unleashing the Vantage S on the famous Goodwood Festival of Speed hill climb, because nothing says “Welcome to the family” like doing 0-124mph in just over ten seconds… up a narrow driveway lined with hay bales and heart palpitations.

First deliveries are slated for Q4 2025, so if you’re ready to trade in your sensible shoes for something with carbon ceramic brakes, the order books are open.

The ‘S’ Stands for…

Savage. Sophisticated. Sensational. Or maybe just “Seriously, take my money.”

Because the Vantage S isn’t just a car—it’s an uppercut in a tuxedo.
