Call of Duty: Force Motors Drafts 2,978 Gurkhas for Active Service with Indian Defence Forces

Pune – In what can only be described as the most rugged recruitment drive of the year, Force Motors Limited has received a massive order from the Indian Defence Forces for a battalion of 2,978 Force Gurkha vehicles. That’s right – the military just signed up nearly 3,000 soldiers who run on diesel and never complain about sore feet.

Known for producing vehicles that can take a beating and still politely ask for more, Force Motors is strapping on its combat boots once again to supply its legendary Gurkha models—machines that laugh in the face of potholes and scoff at steep mountain inclines.

“These are not your average Sunday-drive SUVs,” said Prasan Firodia, Managing Director at Force Motors. “The Force Gurkha is engineered to go where Google Maps politely says, ‘Good luck.’”

Specifically customized for the Indian Army and the Air Force, the new Gurkhas are part of a long-standing alliance between man, machine, and mud. With superior ground clearance, the highest water wading capacity in its class, and 4×4 capabilities that could make a mountain goat feel underqualified, these vehicles are expected to tackle everything from desert heatwaves to Himalayan cold shoulders.

Force Motors has been quietly powering through the defence sector with its Gurkha Light Strike Vehicle for years. This latest order signals more than just a bump in sales—it’s a full-throttle endorsement from those who don’t have time for roadside breakdowns.

“Our defence forces trust us with mobility in mission-critical situations,” added Firodia. “This order is a salute to the toughness of the Gurkha and the dedication of the people who build it. Also, we’re pretty sure the Gurkha now outranks a few junior officers.”

As Force Motors continues to rev up innovation for military-grade reliability, the streets—and off-roads—of India can rest assured: when the going gets tough, the tough get a Gurkha.
