Ahmedabad – In a significant move to advance automotive education, JSW MG Motor India has presented an MG Hector to Dharmsinh Desai University (DDU) as part of its MG Nurture program. This initiative aims to empower students with hands-on experience in cutting-edge automotive technology, bridging the gap between academic learning and industry demands.
The MG Nurture program is a cornerstone of JSW MG Motor India’s commitment to fostering skill development and innovation in the automotive sector. By partnering with over 40 educational institutions across India, the program equips students with the technical expertise required to excel in a fast-evolving industry.
Speaking on the initiative, Yeshwinder Patial, Senior Director – Human Resources at JSW MG Motor India, emphasized the company’s mission to reshape traditional automotive education. “Our MG Nurture initiative bridges academic learning with real-world technological advancements. By giving students direct access to modern automotive technology, we aim to nurture a workforce ready to lead the industry’s future,” he said.
The collaboration was warmly welcomed by Padma Shri Dr. H. M. Desai, Vice-Chancellor of Dharmsinh Desai University, who highlighted its importance for students. “This partnership provides our students with an invaluable opportunity to engage with advanced automotive systems. It aligns with our commitment to equip students with knowledge in cutting-edge technologies, preparing them to seize opportunities in a rapidly changing landscape,” he stated.
In addition to the MG Nurture program, JSW MG Motor India has launched EVPEDIA, an innovative online platform dedicated to electric vehicle (EV) education. This platform aims to accelerate EV adoption in India by educating a wider audience about EV technology and its applications.
The presentation of the MG Hector marks another milestone in JSW MG Motor India’s journey to empower India’s youth with the skills and expertise needed to thrive in the automotive industry of tomorrow.
