Siemens Showcases Next-Gen Tech to Drive India’s Digital and Sustainable Future at Transform Innovation Day 2024

Mumbai: At its Transform Innovation Day 2024, Siemens Limited, India spotlighted groundbreaking technologies poised to drive India’s digital and sustainable transformation across manufacturing, infrastructure, and mobility. The event presented Siemens’ latest solutions, including Industrial Metaverse, Digital Twin, Cybersecurity, and Generative AI applications, which promise substantial improvements in productivity, energy efficiency, operational performance, and flexibility for businesses of all sizes.

Central to the showcase was Siemens Xcelerator, an open digital business platform providing access to over 1,000 solutions, featuring contributions from more than 400 global vendors, with India contributing more than 200 references. This platform is designed to foster collaboration and streamline digital adoption, enabling companies to tailor and implement technology to address specific challenges.

In his keynote, Dr. Peter Koerte, Siemens AG’s Chief Technology Officer, emphasized India’s pivotal moment in industrial digitalization. “India is poised for an industrial transformation that aligns technology with sustainable growth. The tools we’re presenting – from industrial AI to digital twins – are more than innovations; they are growth accelerators,” Dr. Koerte stated. “With India’s manufacturing prowess and strong software talent, we are witnessing a new wave of smart factories, optimized energy solutions, and urban infrastructure upgrades. Siemens is committed to supporting India’s sustainability goals and reinforcing its role as a global leader in innovation.”

Sunil Mathur, Managing Director and CEO of Siemens Limited, India, stressed the critical role of digitalization for Indian industries seeking a competitive edge. “In a global market, digitalization offers our industries the flexibility and operational performance they need to meet regulatory, sustainability, and growth objectives.
