FOUNTAIN VALLEY, Calif., Aug. 26, 2024 – Hyundai Motor America has announced the pricing details for its highly anticipated 2025 Sonata, including the introduction of a budget-friendly SE trim. With a starting MSRP of $26,650 (INR 22.34 lakh), the SE trim makes the Sonata more accessible to a wider range of buyers, offering a comprehensive suite of standard features that emphasize both comfort and safety.
The 2025 Sonata SE is equipped with a 2.5L MPI/GDI 4-cylinder engine paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission. Standard features include 16-inch alloy wheels, dual LED projector headlights, a 12.3-inch touchscreen display, and wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Additionally, advanced safety technologies like Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist with Pedestrian & Cyclist Detection, and Blind-Spot Collision Warning with Rear Cross-Traffic Collision-Avoidance Assist, are included at no extra cost.
Hyundai has also elevated the SEL Convenience package to a standalone trim, priced at $27,750 MSRP ($28,900 with delivery), giving customers more flexibility in choosing the features that best meet their needs. The SEL trim includes the option for HTRAC All-Wheel Drive, enhancing the Sonata’s capability in various driving conditions.
For those seeking enhanced fuel efficiency, the Sonata Hybrid starts at $31,000 MSRP ($32,150 with delivery), offering a 2.0L Hybrid powertrain. Meanwhile, performance enthusiasts can opt for the Sonata N Line, which boasts a robust Smartstream 2.5L Turbo GDI engine, starting at $35,250 MSRP ($36,400 with delivery).
Key updates for the 2025 model year include the reintroduction of the entry-level SE trim, the SEL Convenience package now offered as its own trim, and the addition of a second-row console-mounted air vent in the Sonata N Line.
