BYD India Marks 11 Years of Electrifying India: Extends Special Pricing for Atto 3 Dynamic to Celebrate Milestone

New Delhi, India – BYD India, a subsidiary of the global New Energy Vehicle (NEV) leader BYD, is celebrating a significant milestone: 11 years of pioneering electric mobility in India. The company’s journey began with the introduction of the country’s first pure electric bus in Chennai on August 20, 2013, heralding a new era for India’s public transportation system.

In celebration of this anniversary, BYD India has announced the extension of the introductory pricing for the BYD Atto 3 Dynamic variant, a move aimed at making the cutting-edge electric vehicle even more accessible to Indian consumers. This announcement follows the impressive achievement of over 600 bookings for the new BYD Atto 3 variants and the Cosmos Black edition within just one month, reflecting strong consumer interest and positive feedback.

Rajeev Chauhan, Head of Electric Passenger Vehicles at BYD India, highlighted the company’s commitment to sustainable mobility, stating, “As we commemorate 11 years of BYD’s presence in India, we are proud to see the growing demand for advanced and environmentally responsible vehicles. The extension of our introductory pricing offer underscores our dedication to making the BYD Atto 3 variants accessible to a wider audience of eco-conscious consumers.”

Globally, BYD continues to make waves, recently climbing to the 143rd position in the Fortune Global 500 rankings and securing its place among the Top 10 global automotive brands according to the Kantar BrandZ Most Valuable Global Brands 2024 report. With over 8 million NEVs manufactured worldwide, BYD has significantly contributed to reducing global carbon emissions by over 62 billion kilograms, reinforcing its vision to ‘Cool the Earth by 1°C.’

As BYD India looks to the future, it remains committed to accelerating the transition to a greener and more sustainable automotive landscape in India.
