Maruti Suzuki Expands Standard and Extended Warranty Programs to Enhance Customer Assurance
New Delhi, July 9, 2024: Maruti Suzuki India Limited (MSIL) has announced substantial upgrades to its vehicle warranty programs, reaffirming its commitment to customer satisfaction and peace of mind. Effective immediately, the standard warranty now extends to 3 years or 100,000 km, an increase from the previous coverage of 2 years or 40,000 km. This enhancement applies to all vehicles delivered from July 9th, 2024 onwards.
The updated standard warranty offers extensive coverage, including the engine, transmission, mechanical components, electrical systems, and air conditioning, excluding consumables. This upgrade ensures that customers can benefit from free repairs at any Maruti Suzuki authorized service center throughout the warranty period.
In addition to the standard warranty enhancement, Maruti Suzuki has expanded its extended warranty options. The new extended warranty packages now provide coverage for up to 6 years or 160,000 km, offering customers greater flexibility and protection. The three extended warranty packages available are:
- Platinum Package: Coverage up to 4 years or 120,000 km.
- Royal Platinum Package: Coverage up to 5 years or 140,000 km.
- Solitaire Package: Coverage up to 6 years or 160,000 km.
These extended warranties now include 11 high-value parts previously limited to the standard warranty duration, further enhancing the value and protection offered to customers.
