This debut, featuring two distinct models – the eagerly-awaited ProMaster EV delivery model (open for orders now) and the ProMaster EV non-delivery/cargo model (coming soon) – signals Ram’s commitment to innovative, zero-emission transportation.
The ProMaster EV, not just another van on the block, boasts a robust 110-kWh battery pack, offering a sprightly city range of up to 162 miles. It’s a charging chameleon, compatible with Level 3 DC fast charging at various speeds (50 kW to 150 kW) and also cozy with a Level 2 wall box charger, up to 11 kW. Designed on the ProMaster’s tried-and-true architecture but reimagined for electrification, this van integrates its battery pack seamlessly into a unibody design.
The delivery model, a dream for drivers, features a 159-inch wheelbase, extended super-high-roof, and comforts like a heated steering wheel and windshield. It’s not just about comfort – new safety and security features like Park Sense with stop and dual backup alarms have been added for peace of mind.
