This ranking may not affect directly or doesn’t put an impact on its overall graph but it focuses on the key factor and leading indicators of performance, such as policies, initiatives, tracking metrics and so on. To achieve a position in this list is highly appreciable because the ESG research team of the journalists would go through over 8,800 media coverage and analysis and then come to the decision.
M&M scored very well in the ground of human and social capitals metric as well as the work done on the environmental front. The Mahindra Group has already announced that they will be carbon neutral by 2040 and that has obviously helped the brand in long term sustainability.

Along with it 14 of M&M’s manufacturing plants are now considered and certified as ‘Zero waste to Landfill’.
