Salon Privé will be welcoming Bentley Mulliner at beautiful Blenheim Palace from Sept 23-26 where Mulliner is all set to unveil a three-strong showcase handcrafted by the company. Salon Privé is now recognised as one of the top events in the world for the motor show.
These three models, each individually handcrafted by a team of specialists from Bentley Mulliner, will form the world’s first pre-war race car continuation series. As per the official report received each model would be beautifully designed in the Bentley Mulliner’s workshop located at Crewe as per the customer’s choice.
As per reports, the trio would be showcased for the first time in the mega event mentioned above. Mulliner’s collection for the event would include a new member of the Mulliner Collections family, alongside the public unveiling for the Bentley Mulliner Bacalar and a post-restoration debut for one of the most popular Bentleys in history.
For the event which is to take place soon, the classic portfolio would be showcased by presenting the sheer and hard work of engineers and artisans involved in the restoring Bentley’s own Team Car, as raced by Sir Tim Birkin (it is the car that gives the data and blueprints for the Continuation Series).
The other handcraft of Bentley Mulliner that is said to be showcased include- Bentley Mulliner Bacalar, it is the rarest two-door Bentley of the modern time, offers the ultimate expression of two-seat along with open-air- luxury which would grab every body’s eyeballs. The event also marks the return to coachbuilding by Bentley Mulliner – the oldest coachbuilder in the world, which guarantees the rarity, offers luxury and mind-blowing performance. The Bacalar is the first car to be created as part of Bentley Mulliner’s new Coachbuilt portfolio.
The roofless Barchetta are designed using the latest technology, embraced with multiple options and materials which are built keeping in the mind the taste of the customers. The Bacalar is a seamless fusion of materials that are carefully crafted using technology. Its draws on design DNA from the award-winning EXP 100 GT which was awarded recently as the ‘Most Beautiful Concept Car of the Year’ at the French Festival Automobile International and ‘Concept Car of the Year’ by GQ magazine.
The third model of the Bentley Mulliner’s collections will offer the cynosure of the luxury derivatives of the core Bentley range which include the new Continental GT Mulliner Convertible. It also offers an opportunity to own the Mulliner’s unique model. A vast number of options are available to customers across the full line-up of current production cars which promises uniqueness.
