Hyundai has brought to life its new design motto ‘Sensuous Sportiness’ in the all-new i20, styling it with lively front and rear bumpers as well as a new radiator grille. Designed to offer maximum airy roominess and passenger convenience, its wheelbase has been enlarged in addition to a bigger boot space. The new i20 is better connected than ever before. It has a 10.25-inch digital cluster and 10.25-inch touchscreen to provide full comfort; and Apple CarPlay plus Android Auto have boosted its connectivity. The carmakers have also prioritized customer safety and armoured it with safety features like SmartSense’s Navigation-based Smart Cruise Control (NSCC) and Intelligent Speed Limit Assist (ISLA). For a B-segment car, it has definitely surpassed the expected features. Not only is it safe and comfortable, the i20 also delivers effective driving performance with its two engines giving as much as 100 PS – 120 PS. The i20 N-Line goes a step or two further in fine-tuning the N range and has additional safety and driving features.

Using its Sensuous Sportiness, Hyundai has created an emotional harmony between its design and advanced technology that runs it. Its unique sound structure is the first in Europe to feature a Bose audio system and also has an eCall system in case of emergencies. With a seven-speed dual clutch transmission (7DCT), six speed manual transmission (6MT) and Intelligent Manual Transmission (iMT), it saves fuel by decoupling the engine and entering into coasting mode. Its N Line trim adds to the dynamic sporty charm and increases its aerodynamic performance. On the outside, its new design has distinguished Hyundai vehicles from all other cars and aims at creating an emotional reaction in the mind of whoever sees it. Hyundai has also made the new i20 available in 10 exterior colours, out of which four are completely new to the roster. On the inside, designers have spent ample time in altering proportions to make the cabin as roomy and comfy as possible.

Passengers will enjoy its aesthetic appeal while basking in the ambient LED lights and can choose their own favourite interior trim from the three options available. Driver’s visibility has also exponentially increased with a quarter-fixed glass window behind the rear door. It also seats five people at a single time and comes as a five-door hatchback. Boasting its technical features, it also has a wireless charging pad in the centre console and three USB charging ports for multiple uses. Hyundai’s Bluelink tech has also made an appearance in the new i20, adding features like live parking information which can be remotely accessed through smartphones. For the first five years Bluelink and its features will be completely free of charge. The i20 also has the most wide-ranging safety package of all the cars in B-segment. Safety assist features like Rear cross-traffic and parking collision-avoidance make driving easier and safer. Coming with a five-year warranty, new i20 has become a formidable vehicle with powerful engine choices and an N Line trim.
